Raven and Robert’s Story

We went to BYB with no confidence and no self love and hating the way our bodies were but we wanted to do something to celebrate us getting married and we went for it, we went to the photoshoot scared, worried and sure that it would fail and we would look terrible, like no matter how they took the photo it would look awful, we were unbelievably nervous and when we got there we were greeted with not just professionalism but with love and support, we nervously made our way to the makeup artist and I had no idea what I wanted or how I wanted to look, with barely any answers to go on the makeup artist worked her magic and like that, I was shown the final result, i nearly cried, I had never (literally) never felt so beautiful and my husbands jaw was on the floor alas the artist was lovely she spoke to me and calmed me and reminded me this was going to be a magical experience, still unsure and nervous we moved forward and proceeded to meet the photographer, she was funny and caring and guided us through what was to come, we got to our rooms and while changing and sorting me and my husband were nervous wrecks! The photographer came back in and took us to our first room for a shoot and pretty quick it was fun and we got into it and time flew by, before we knew it over 100 pictures later we were done, and when I say we were amazed I’m pretty sure that’s an understatement, when we went into the room to see our final photos we were emotional, we felt shocked that even on the photos that weren’t our favourite these ladies had managed to capture sides of us that we didn’t even know we had! We felt beautiful, sexy, flawless and empowered and like our love had been perfectly captured! We’ve only been married a few months and this was the best decision we have made to do! We left BYB with not just flawless photos but with pride and massive smiles on our faces and pictures we can treasure for the rest of our lives! The team at BYB showed no judgement only love and support and it was a magical day and I can’t wait to go back and do it again! We can’t thank them enough for making us see our own beauty and giving us a beautiful memory to remember so fondly! Our story of our relationship was captured in the most perfect way and we will forever be grateful!
